Saheed Shib Sankar Seba Samity (SSSS) was registered in 1978 to work among the poor to very poor people covering Burdwan district. In the last years SSSS has been working in different areas of Burdwan in the field of health education and health care for general people, blood donation, sanitary mart, awareness on Thalasaemia, STD/HIV/AIDS awareness generation programme. To carry forward the glorious heritage that he left before us, Saheed Shibsankar Seba Samity had its foundation on May 23, 1978. It was registered under West Bengal Society Registration Act, 1961, registration number being S/22240 OF 1977-78 with Late Fakir Chandra Roy, a noted Freedom Fighter as its first President. Eminent personalities of Burdwan district from various walks of life came forward actively in organizing the Seba Samity.

We have also included various community health based activities in this website and we humbly solicit your active participation in these activities.
